At Bourbon for Booty: Whiskey & Wine, every pour has a purpose. And for returning bourbon partner BHAWK, Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko., this year’s involvement comes with an especially personal story.

Evan Woollis joined us at Bourbon for Booty last year, representing BHAWK and sharing its American whiskeys with our guests. But after experiencing the event and learning more about 24 Foundation’s mission, he began thinking about his own family’s experience with cancer.

Evan was just 17 when his mother passed away from cancer. He and his two younger brothers were left navigating an incredibly difficult time as their father struggled with the loss of his wife of 25 years.

“After last year’s event, it made me think about how grateful I would have been at 17 if there had been a group like 24 Foundation to assist my two younger brothers and me,” Evan shared.

That reflection inspired him to do something special for this year’s 5^th Annual Bourbon for Booty.

Throughout the year, Evan has personally collected a series of BHAWK’s limited-release bottles, which he is donating to 24 Foundation. The collection currently includes Founders Pick, 2nd Anniversary, Christmas Blend, Single Barrel Rye and Father’s Day Single Barrel.

You can’t find these bottles just anywhere. Most were released in quantities of fewer than 300 bottles, making the collection an especially unique opportunity for whiskey enthusiasts and an incredibly meaningful contribution to Bourbon for Booty.

Based in Southern Pines, NC, BHAWK, Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko. was founded by retired Army veterans Brad and Jessica Halling.

More than a distillery, BHAWK is a destination in the heart of the Sandhills, bringing together craft spirits, elevated comfort food, distillery tours and tastings, live music and special events in a relaxed, casual-upscale setting. In addition, BHAWK was voted First Place in SEVEN categories in the 2026 Best of the Pines.

Join us for our 5^th Annual Bourbon for Booty: Whiskey & Wine on Saturday, October 24, from 6:30–10 PM at Swinerton in Charlotte.

Guests will enjoy curated bourbons, whiskeys and fine wines, chef-prepared small bites, live and silent auctions, music and more, all while supporting 24 Foundation and our local cancer community.

Tickets are $150 per person. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
