All about

24 Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our mission is to inspire and engage communities to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. We do that by investing in organizations and services that help untangle the maze of appointments, tests, and treatments after diagnosis, and funding programs to increase the quality of life for survivors decades into the future.
The story of 24 Foundation begins in 2001, when our founder, Spencer Lueders, had the idea to ride a bike for 24 hours around Charlotte’s famed “Booty Loop” in the Myer’s Park neighborhood. His goal was to raise money to help cancer patients. The following year, 24 Foundation was born and his “24 Hours of Booty” ride became a Charlotte institution.
Today, 24 Foundation serves as a celebration of survivorship, the power of peer-to-peer fundraising, and the enduring, spirit that our participants, sponsors and volunteers demonstrate every single day.
